Spring Break Mission Trip – March 10-17, 2018
Wyoming County, West Virginia
What inspires students to spend their Spring Break serving the rural poor in Appalachia? To live for a week without the luxuries and amenities of home? Pope Francis said it best:
“Mission is at once a passion for Jesus and a passion for His people.”
Join CCM members in serving the people of Wyoming County, West Virginia, where more than 30% have an annual household income of less than $20,000 and only 9% have a college degree. We will be performing emergency home repair in a variety of ways — fixing roofs and floors, digging drainage ditches, painting, siding — whatever the needs may be at the time. Our Mission Trip will include morning and evening group prayer and reflection, as well as immersion in a lifestyle very different than our own.
For more information about our Appalachia Service Project Mission Trip, email Joanne Buonocore. Space is limited and on a first come, first served basis. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due by December 1st.
